Fed hikes rates for first time since 2023 – Bitcoin holds but pressure mounts
The US Federal Reserve raised its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to a range of 3.75 to 4.00 percent – the first hike since July 2023. Bitcoin barely moved, hovering around 76,000 dollars, but the structural headwinds are clearly intensifying.
